OUR PHILOSOPHY

KinderQuest is grounded in the principles of the BC Early Learning Framework, which emphasizes the importance of holistic, child-centered and inclusive education. We believe that early childhood is a critical period of exploration, growth and learning, and our approach aims to provide safe, supportive and enriching environment that respects each child's unique identity, culture and abilities. Our curriculum emphasizes inquiry-based learning, where children are encouraged to ask questions, experiment and engage in hands-on activities. By providing balanced learning opportunities, we aim to build a strong foundation for lifelong success.

Programs

KinderQuest is divided into 2 age groups, according to the child's age, maturity and academic level: Pre-Kindergarten One (toddlers 18-36 months) and Pre-Kindergarten Two (3 -5 years old)

Curriculum Offerings

Literacy Skills (Reading, Writing)
At KinderQuest, our curriculum-based literacy program helps children develop essential reading and writing skills through structures, age-appropriate activities. Children engage in letter recognition, phonemic awareness, storytelling, and early writing exercises that strengthen vocabulary, comprehension and fine motor skills. Our curriculum fosters a love for language and literacy, building a strong foundation for future academic success.
Math and STEM
Our curriculum introduces children to foundational concepts through hands-on exploration and play. Children engage in activities that develop number sense, pattern recognition, measurement and problem-solving skills. Through building projects, and inquiry-based learning, we foster curiosity, critical thinking and a love for discovery.
Science/ Nature Explorations
Our Science and Nature Explorations programs encourage children to discover the wonders of the natural world through hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Children engage in sensory experiments, outdoor explorations and simple scientific investigations that foster curiosity, observation skills and an understanding of basic scientific concepts. Through interactive activities, we nurture a love for nature, sustainability and critical thinking, inspiring young learners to explore and question the world around them.
Creative Arts
Our Creative Arts program nurtures self-expression and imagination through a variety of artistic experiences. Children explore painting, drawing, sculpting, music and dramatic play, developing fine motor skills and creative thinking. Through hands-on projects and open- ended activities, children gain confidence in their artistic abilities while learning to appreciate different forms of art.

Co-curriculars

Music and Movement
Our Music and Movement program engages children in rhythm, dance and song to support physical, cognitive and social development. Through interactive activities such as singing, instrument play and creative movement, children develop coordination, listening skills and self-expression. Our curriculum fosters a love for music while enhancing language development, motor skills and social interaction in a fun and dynamic environment.
Socials
Our Socials program helps children develop essential social and emotional skills through interactive play, group activities and storytelling. Children learn about kindness, empathy, cooperation and cultural awareness in a nurturing environment. Through role-playing, discussion and hands-on experiences, they build confidence, respect for others and a sense of community, laying the foundation for strong interpersonal skills and lifelong relationships.
